A honey oak stick barometer, serial no.1137, by the famous instrument maker Negretti and Zambra. The silvered scale with thermometer and vernier, bears the inscription 'NEGRETTI & ZAMBRA inst. makers to her majesty' (Queen Victoria).Bevelled glass cover to scale. Brass knob for setting vernier. Overall condition very good (the scale has been re silvered).
